Your Medication Experts.

Our trusted team of pharmacists implement innovative solutions and models of care to support behavioral health providers and addiction treatment programs build organizational capacity and knowledge related to medications and controlled substances management.

We work directly with providers, government agencies, employers, schools, professional associations, and community organizations to improve drug safety, education, and treatment approaches to addiction and mental health.

We are the drivers of change.

Medication misuse is a symptom of substance use disorder, which makes medication management complex.

The EMO approach balances clinical appropriateness and treatment planning with behavioral accountability to retain individuals in care, prevent staff burnout, and improve patient outcomes.

  • EMERGENCY MEDICATION PRESCRIBING SERVICES

Our Nurse Practitioner provides emergency bridge supplies of medications for psychiatric and chronic medical conditions to select residential treatment facilities and group homes.

The goal is to reduce gaps in drug therapy across transitions in care that can contribute to destabilization and relapse.

  • EXPANDING THE ROLE OF THE PHARMACIST

Our unique pharmacist partnership model supports a just culture of accountability and transparency. Concerned programs can request EMO support before, or even after, a medication error occurs.

We work with regulators and licensing inspectors to support facilities and retrain staff rather than punish them.
