Our Mission & Goals

Medication misuse is a symptom of substance use disorder, which makes medication management complex.

The EMO approach balances clinical appropriateness and treatment planning with behavioral accountability to retain individuals in care, prevent staff burnout, and improve health outcomes.

  • Technical Assistance & Trainings

    At EMO Health, our Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) empowers facilities to create safe, efficient, and recovery-focused environments. We help staff build confidence in medication management while strengthening everyday practices that support both residents and teams. Every training and consultation is designed to meet the unique needs of your program, ensuring your facility is equipped to thrive.

  • Policy & Procedure Implementation

    Strong policies only work when they are clear, practical, and put into practice. EMO Health partners with facilities to design procedures that meet regulatory standards and actually function in the real world. We don’t just hand over templates—we stay involved to make sure implementation is smooth, sustainable, and embraced by staff at every level.

  • Community & Student Education

    EMO Health invests in the next generation of healthcare and public health professionals while strengthening knowledge in the community. We create hands-on learning opportunities for pharmacy and MPH students, exposing them to real-world challenges in medication safety, addiction treatment, and recovery support. At the same time, we bring accessible, practical education to community members—empowering residents, families, and local organizations with the skills and information they need to support safe and healthy environments.
